Stephen and Lisa met in Lexington Kentucky when Stephen was serving as a intern at Southern Acres Christian Church.   After the internship was over, Lisa’s mom convinced her to write a letter to Stephen.  At the time, he was leading a church in Columbus, Ohio and Lisa was a student at Western Kentucky University.   They dated “long distance” for two years and were married in 1994.  The Lord has blessed them with four wonderful children.   Interesting to know that at age 8, when other children wanted to be a fireman or policeman, Stephen told his teacher “I want to be a preacher.”  At age 8, Lisa walked into the kitchen at her home and said, “mom, I want to marry a preacher.”  God has a plan.  As a familly, they love serving the Lord together and seeing people come to faith in Christ.
